AX60

AX60 Synthesizer from 1980s sampled and made into a VST plug-in. Inside you will find original authentic AX60 customized instruments. 24-bit multi-sampled and hand designed each sound. All of the sounds are recorded dry straight from the synth without processing or effects. This synth is known for its aggressive fat basses and unique pads/strings. The resonance which when pushed can create some unique aggressive sounds but the Filter can also make very smooth softer tones as well. This is why this synth is popular and sought after. AX60 is a rival of the Juno however the AX sound is different and fatter. The AX60 VCO Oscillators sound more analog and warmer, than the digital based DCOs for its bigger brother AX80. All analog synthesizers sound different, each one has a special character and harmonic that sets them apart. You won't find these patches and sounds anywhere else but on our store

Not bad, with settings like the synth, and I don't regret buying it,
good colection

As an owner of an Akai AX-60, I'm impressed!

I've owned an AX-60 since 1999, it being my first and only hardware synth. I developed my own set of patches, and recently tested out the factory patches that someone provided backups for, so I'm pretty familiar with the sounds it can make. It's leads don't seem very distinctive from other synths IMO, but the basses and pads definitely do, and this sample VST captures those very well. I look forward to being able to open up this plugin rather than having to hook up my actual AX-60 synth.

The LFOs and envelope work just fine in shaping the sounds. I don't think a sample based VST will ever replace the actual thing, but this hits very close.

Super Smooth!

I love the big and full but also super smooth sound of the AX60! Great bells and synths perfect for nice leads. A very good selection of pads as well! Loving this one!

The sounds are beyond my expectations. LFO guys went in hard on the sound design. Very usable sounds, awesome Basses and amazing Pad Strings.
Super cool dudes they respond to questions quickly. I bought couple VSTs from them and not disappointed at all!
